Public skating and skate rental are only available from October 1st to March 31st. When we are open for public skating and skate rental, everyone is welcome to come and buy tickets. There is no need to announce your arrival unless you’re a large group (more than 50 people).

Week 42 in October is the Autum and Week 7 is the Winter school Holiday break.

Week 7 - Vinterferien

Access to the ice for public skating requires a valid ticket. You pay for an entrance ticket and can then skate in the hours for public skating.
Entrance tickets and skate rental are paid at the skate rental/ticket booth in Ishal1.

*) Pass card gives you 10 Entrance (non-personal, valid for 3 years)
**) Pensioner prices apply to state, disability, early retirement pensioners, and those on early retirement with valid documentation.
***) It's free for them, they only pay skate rental.

Information regarding prices and discounts

• The skates are Icehockey skates (not figure skating).
• Own skates can be used.
• Skate sizes 25-50
• Discounts available if you buy a 10-visit pass card.
• Discounts for Gentofte municipal schools and institutions they don't pay for entry or room rental, only the skate rental discount for schools.
• Private schools and institutions in Gentofte Municipality and all schools/institutions outside the municipality, pay for entry and get discount on the skate rental.
• If you want to be alone/rent a room - you will need to book this.

We need some information

You will need to fill out the form, if you want to come a large group with more than 50 people, or you want to rent af room for you to sit and have a social break and if you for some reason need to contact us before your visit.
Submit the form at least 3 working days before your visit.

Schools and Birthdays

Schools and institutions can visit during public skating hours and book rooms or ice rinks.
Birthdays and similar events can be held during public skating hours or by booking a room.

• Some public skating times are in Ice Hall 2.
• Pay for an entrance ticket, not a specific time slot.
• Ice Hall 1: 1,100 people capacity.
• Ice Hall 2: 350 people capacity.
• Large number of skates available.
• Recommended to bring gloves and a bicycle helmet.
• Wear warm clothing.
• No pucks/sticks/equipment/cones or exercises/games that disturb others.
• Address: Ved Stadion 6-8, Gentofte.
• Large parking lot across from Gentoftehallen.
• Drop-off spots in front of Gentoftehallen.
• Do not drop off on the road outside the ice rink.
• Allowed to bring food and drink, but not onto the ice.
• Clean up after yourself.

Offentligt skøjteløb har faste åbningstider, som kun ændres under skoleferier i uge 7, uge 42, mellem jul og nytår, eller ved aflysninger. Der kan i enkelte tilfælde forekomme ændringer i de normale åbningstider ved stævner og lignende begivenheder.

I perioden fra 1. oktober til 1. december er Ishal2 lukket og der vil derfor være begrænset åbningstider til offentligt skøjteløb og skøjteudlejning.
Disse tider gælder også for uge 42 - Efterårsferien.

I perioden fra 2/12 eller når Ishal2 er åben igen.
Normale åbningstider til og med sæsonen slutter 31/3.
